New Job Opportunity: Commercial Lead Talent Manager

Are you passionate about the gaming industry? We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Lead Talent Manager to join our team. 

Position Summary:

As a Commercial Lead Talent Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and managing top-tier talent within the gaming industry as well as working with brands and agencies to secure opportunities for clients.You will also be responsible for signing talent across esports and gaming and maintaining strong relationships with talent, negotiating contracts, and overseeing their commercial endeavours.

 

Reporting:

You will work closely with the Head of Talent and report directly to the Managing Director.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Identify and recruit promising esports and gaming talent, including competitive players, elite talent, and content creators.
  • Talent Management: Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies to maximize the commercial potential of your roster.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts with talent, brands, and other relevant parties.
  • Commercial Partnerships: Facilitate and oversee commercial partnerships between talent and brands, ensuring mutually beneficial arrangements.
  • Agency and Brand: Have a network of brand and agency relationships.
  • Content Strategy: Work with other talent managers to assist with talent and creative teams to develop engaging content strategies, including live streams, videos, and social media posts.
  • Financial Management: Work with management to manage talent finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and payment processing.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4  years in the esports, gaming or sports space.
  • Proven experience in talent management within the esports and gaming industry with a wide network
  • Strong network with brands and agencies in the UK. Europe is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the esports and gaming landscape, including trends, key players, and emerging opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with talent, brands, and industry stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy.
  • Passion for esports and gaming.
  • Passion for Entertainment and Sports
